Frequently Asked Questions

DOES THE TIME I RESERVE INCLUDE THE SET-UP TIME OF THE PHOTO BOOTH?

The time you reserve is the "operating time" of the photo booth.  We arrive to set up 1 hour prior to the scheduled operating time.  If you reserve 3 hours (for example, 6-9 pm) we would arrive 1 hour prior to set up at 5 pm.

WILL THERE BE AN ONSITE ATTENDANT DURING MY EVENT?

Yes!  A full-time attendant will be onsite during the entire event to help your guests use the photo booth.

IF WE WANT TO MAKE CHANGES TO OUR RESERVATION AFTER WE HAVE BOOKED, CAN WE?

Absolutely!  Any changes can be made prior to your scheduled event such as photo strip design, adding more time to your reservation, adding additional upgrades like props or a guestbook, or adjusting the start and end times of your photo booth "operating time."

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO RESERVE A PHOTO BOOTH?

OUR EVENT IS OUTDOORS, IS IT POSSIBLE TO SET UP ONE OF YOUR BOOTHS OUTDOORS?

Yes, however, there are some conditions (ie. wind, glare, etc) that may affect the experience.  We do require to be set up indoors or under a fully covered area if it is raining or snowing the day of your event.  We also need to be located near and have acces to a power outlet. Please note:  If there is inclement weather the photo booth will need to be fully covered by a tent or located indoors as the booth cannot be out in the rain. We also do not do outdoor events from October to May.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE MODVI BASIC PACKAGE AND AN UNLIMITED PACKAGE?

With the Basic package, your guests will receive two 2x6 prints per session.  With the Modvi Unlimited or Modvi Premium packages your guests are welcome to print as many copies as they would like per session (ie. if there are 8 people in the picture then they would be able to select 8 copies of the photo strip to be printed.)  Also, the 4x6 photo strip option is only available with our Modvi Unlimited and Modvi Premium packages.

WHAT IS A SESSION?

A session consists of an individual/couple/group taking a picture.

CAN THE PHOTO STRIPS BE PERSONALIZED?

Yes!  You can check out our available designs, all of which can be personalized, or we can custom design a photo strip with your favorite font, color, company logo, or image.

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH THE GUESTBOOK?

We will supply everything needed to make your guestbook; pre-printed white or black pages, double-sided tape, and pens.  Your guests simply write a message next to their photos and your attendant will assemble your guestbook for you.

WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS OF THE BOOTHS OR HOW MUCH SPACE DO YOU NEED FOR THE BOOTH?

  • Vintage Luxury Booth: 98" tall (77" without PHOTOS sign) x 49" long x 29" wide - booth fits through a standard doorway and cannot go up any stairs (must have a ramp or elevator access at the venue for Vintage Luxury booth)

  • Modern Elegance Booth: 8' tall x 8' long x 34" wide

  • Modvi Open Air Booth:  Requires an 8x8 space on average but can fit in as small as a 5x8 space for intimate locations

DOES THE BOOTH REQUIRE ELECTRICITY?

Yes!  We do need access to a power outlet.  We will supply the extension cords needed.  

​

MY VENUE REQUIRES OUR VENDORS TO HAVE INSURANCE.  DO YOU HAVE BUSINESS INSURANCE?

Yes!  If the venue requires a certificate of insurance or to be added as additionally insured, we can issue that.
